he is having a little sore throat now..
and pray that God will opening the door to the right secondary school for James =P

for me, i'll be taking the pop theory exam on sat 29Nov.
last week to get all the things right!!
pray that i will plan my time well to study.. get a good grade..

met up with my ex-colleague, fellow sis in Christ, on thurs evening for dinner..
glad that we met up esp after so long.. come to think of it.. it's the first time we meet up for a "date" after i left my first job.. haa.. which is like.. more then 3 years ago!
so true that an encouraging friend is important in everybody's life..esp when life is full of ups and downs..
just a simple word or sentence, will be able to perk u up..

went for jamming session after that.. the same thurs night.. for 2 consecutive nights, we had jamming.. to prepare razzleplay's originals.. i would say.. we are progressing well!
thou the consecutive nights was rather tiring.. haa.. jiayou "razzleplayers"!

sat was a long day for me.. had lessons from 11am.. then rushed down to global sounds cafe for a perf for their 1 year anniversary.. didn't have time to eat lunch eh.. luckily had breakfast....
went back echo to put the guitar.. makan with wendy mama, mh and mund..b4 proceeding to Sandy Lam's concert!!
thanks to mi sis friend that we got the complimentary tics!
its really a great way to end a day man.. cos.. she is simply amazing!
she knows very much how to use her voice.. bring out her best..
if its not for the little hipcups... it would seems like the cd playing! better version of the cd version somemore!
not only her voice.. as a person.. i can hear from her music, tat she is always trying to improve herself..
trying out new styles.. new concepts... even dancing!
did i say she is amazing? queen of pop indeed!

Judging Others

continuing passage from the previous post..
a verse most christians are familiar with.. but is something that most forget not to do.. judging others..
including me of cos.. a lesson to be learn and re-learn..... and re-learn...

God is great!

thank God again.. for me to be able to serve in the choir in the gospel rally..
thou i wasn't feeling well (flu and cough) for the last 3 days.. its amazing that when its time to sing.. the sickness disappear for that moment.. =P
oya.. for the 3rd day rally i almost can't make it, cos i sneeze and sneeze and sneeze!.. it's God's plan that i saw my ex-colleague there.. then she happen to have the non drowsy medicine for flu! lasted me for that evening.. =)
some of u may not understand why i can still thank God when i'm sick and still using my time and effort to do a thing that might not be in my favour.. ?
yes, i did it out of my own will.. but becos God loved us first!

hmm.. came to know that it's hard to please everybody..
no matter which path u choose to take.. there bound to be some to not agree.. get disappointed..
i actually will get very affected by what ppl think.. especially those close to me..
learning to trust in God.. to focus on Him instead of what other thinks..
went thru quite alot recently.. more problems ahead to come..
but i know God has a purpose behind every problem.. and uses circumstances to develop our character and grow =)

(still wearing them now).. tried other cheaper jeans but they dun last eh.. some got more loose after a while (ok maybe i got thinner or somethin.. haa).. some shrunk after washing.. (oh.. that means, in that case maybe i put on weight also lah.. keke)
overall, think i believe u get what u pay for lah..
of cos, not true for all cases.. thats for u to judge ba.. may get conned also..
but i also hope to get good and cheap things eh! (becoming aunt liao =P)

Dr. Rev Stephen Tong, is someone i respect alot.. think God really uses him to speak to the ppl..
i followed parents to church since young when i didn't even know what was happening ard... until i know wat was happening ard.. going to church was like a routine.. think it was thru Rev. Tong's last Gospel Rally that really strikes me.. gets me thinking.. doing God's work with the right mind set..


ever wondered who is that Jesus, whom u always hear abt in tv shows, movies..
is he just some character from a story book?

tioman trip - church camp 2008

came back from the trip.. and heard the news abt the windstorm in the philippines.. the surroundings now can be so scarily unpredictable..
Thank God that we are not affected by the windstorm and came back safely from tioman!
the trip was kinda in 2 diff parts.. first 2 days was the sermons.. the next 2 was the nature experience.. ok strict speaking.. its like only 1 day of sermon and 1 day of nature.. cos the other 2 days is spent going to and back... haa..
being able to see and feel God's wonderful creations was a great experience.. seeing the sky meeting the ocean.. the colorful fishes up close.. sea corals.. waterfall.. =P
minus off the long bumpy ride and the a little boring food.. nice retreat! haa..

Jiu Jian Concert...

really glad to have a chance to play in such concert..
i guess i'll never have the chance again.. haa..
learned quite alot.. every details of the music have to be precise.. which is very difficult for me ah.. have to practice again and again.. admit tat i've made a few of mistakes on the actual day.. haa
think mi sec sch concert band and recent "rock band" experience, helped one way or another.. thank God.. =P using the ears to listen out to everyone is sooo important..
another good things is that i've came to know a number of very good musician.. happy =D

Tscc youth camp 2008 - pulau ubin

been "out of" Singapore over the weekends and monday.. finally back.. yeh!
Thank God everything went thru smoothly.. in spite of the rain..
we know that some things are not according to what the organizer planned.. but, the programs went on well in the end! i'm sure the youth had learn a lesson or two. =)

I admit that i was very doubtful abt about my brother's safety for this trip in the beginning.. as in my previous experience, ubin isn't a very "safe" place.. esp for my brother's situation... in my mind, i disagree with him attending this camp.. ok.. ya we are sometimes too protective... hmmm.. we came up with come idea that maybe we can bring him home earlier, not needing to complete the whole 3 days.. but then, deacon yangkeng reminded us.. that if we do that, it'll not be very healthy for this mentality while growing up.. yes, totally agree... then plus think james really wanted to go for this camp.. why stop him.. moreover, our timings seems planned for... mi sis can go over sat morning.. then i can join them later, and my off days are mondays.. so i can stay to look after..
Thank you for all your prayers, i know there are ppl out there praying for james, praying for the camp also.. Thank you brothers and sisters in Christ, in one way or another looking after him. Thank God for listening to our prayers. yup, God's grace is always sufficient!

went to HK 3rd wk of Jan.. very nice.. as u've heard me say.. everything is nice to eat!! hee.. first time experiencing the cold weather at hk.. really quite cold ah.. very gd break from the stressful reality.. needed quite some time then to adjust back to real life! its just been a month.. i'm missing the relaxing trip already.. why are there no "yu dan" and "jui pei" (canto) here selling in sg?? haa

we've been planning to go for hk trip for a very long time.. since.. 2 years ago???
finally its coming true!! taking off this sun.. 6am flight.. -_- so early.. haa.. will be coming back.. on wed night!
i juz visit cheer chen's webby.. and realise she is having a performance at hk!!!! on the 12th, Sat!!! along side with many other artistes! seems like a happening event!!!
