Robbie Williams Cancels Asian Shows On `Close Encounters' World Tour, Citing Health Concerns

LONDON (AP) -- Robbie Williams has canceled the Asian leg of his world tour, citing health concerns.

The 32-year-old pop star, who is midway through his "Close Encounters" tour, called off shows in Shanghai, China; Hong Kong; Bangkok, Thailand; Singapore; and Mumbai and Bangalore, India, which were set for Nov. 4-26.

A spokesman for Williams told the British Broadcasting Corp. that honoring the dates "would be asking too much."

A statement to promoters said it had become clear "that the stress and exhaustion of the Asian tour, coming so shortly after the end of the European and South American dates, would seriously impact his health," according to the Shanghai Daily.

"Throughout the summer Robbie Williams has performed in more than 40 shows around the world to more than 3 million people," the statement said.

Williams was to perform the second of five dates at the Milton Keynes Bowl north of London on Friday night.

His European tour kicked off in Dublin, Ireland, in June, and next month moves to South America, before finishing in Australia in December.

Nano!

yeh! i got a nano! qy friend's friend's shop closing down selling 2G ipod nano at $230 (retail $348).. so i got myself one without much thinking cos i always wanted one and i could not afford it at the retail price.. But after i got it.. i decided to sell it away cos i wasn't realli "needing" it and mi hp can play mp3.. and and my income is not realli stable now....
BUT then again, mi sis got a briliant idea.. askin mi to ask my some friends to sponsor mi as a bd present since its quite near... ok lah.. not very near... haa.. very bu yao lian right.. =P thanks to my sec sch gang and qy.. i finally unwrap the nano! sweet!

St Andrew's Cathedral lock out..

this pic is taken quite a few weeks ago.. when we were lock out of the St Andrew's Cathedral.. the "aunties" are trying to look inside for help.. i took this pic secretly.. but i was spotted by agnes and jasmine.. haa.. well, i still got the pic!
this is how it all happen....
TSCC choir was involve in the Choir Festvial at st andrew.. after the event, we happily went for makan leaving some of our cars parked inside the church.. when we are done... it was too late! All the gates of the cathedral was closed!! ("smart" joshua parked his car at peninsular)
later found out tat anna told YK that the church gate closes at 930.. but we took it lightly cos last week we did the same thing and the gate was not close even at 10plus.. anyway, YK, SH & ZC walked the whole big round to look for help while the "women and kids" waited.... and shouted towards the church.. "HELLO! ANYBODY??" haaaa.. of cos i kept quiet.. haa..
we wanted to give up.. after waiting for like... 30mins?.. or even longer... go home and come back another day for the car..
juz as we'r abt to leave.. YK spotted a man coming out of the church! Thank God.. the man is the care taker of the church knocking off.. so we manage to get the cars!
unforgettable experience.. esp for the kids.. hee
